I just installed avast! Free and the Online Armor (free) firewall on my friend’s XP SP3 machine. The problem is that he previously had a Norton Internet Security (we don’t know which year but he thinks it was pre-2008) suite installed and he previously uninstalled it with the Revo Uninstaller. It appears to still be active but it does not update the definitions. The icon is still in the Taskbar and I can open the NIS Options window. Where should we start to get rid of the “leftovers”? Thank you!
