Repeated "infection blocked" after removal

Every time I start up I get “infection blocked” and repeated notifications (attached) that the same 2 infections : both PDF: IrlMal-inf 9Trj) were blocked and added to my chest. The origin of this file is Google Drive. I’ve deleted the files from the chest and google drive on both my computer and on the web. Still get these notifications.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

PDF:URLMal-inf [Trj] = a PDF.doc that containe a clickable link to a blacklisted URL

Try to clear the sync app cache and reboot if possible … did that help

Quit Google Backup & Sync & re-started and problem resolved.
