Repeatedly blocking connection

Avast Community,
Not sure if this is the right site but my Avast, Program version: 25.7.10308a (build 25.7.10308.945), repeatedly reports “We prevented your connection to click-V4.exmainclckback.com because it is a dangerous webpage.”

My Firefox browser is up to date and I’m not trying to connect to that page.

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

Second posting a link to what is a suspect page isn’t wise, a screenshot of the Avast alert window with the See details option selected would have been better.

As you were not trying to connect to the site, start by clearing your browser cache and cookies, including 3rd party cookies and restart your browser.

  • If that resolves it you should be good to go.
  • If it doesn’t try running your browser with add-ons disabled.
  • If that resolves it, have you added or updated any add-ons ?
  • If so try disabling that add-on - and restart and try again.

If still not resolved and you are using Chrome based browser - try this suggestion by Avast Team member ‘lukor’ - What about page notifications? Here: chrome://settings/content/notifications ? Do you have all cleared?
