After running a scan, the report file shows a date two year’s earlier then it should. How is this corrected? Thanks, Jim.
It isn’t check your system date and correct if required.
Though if the date was incorrect then I would have expected you to see warnings about it.
Is it the date the file was created you are talking about or the contents of it ?
If you don’t select ‘Overwrite existing’ then, 1. the file gets very large and 2. it retains information on all previous scans.
As I said, I ran a scan on 06/28/07 and the report file (date of findings) had the date 07/25/05. Nearly two years prior to my scan. Thanks, Jim.
DavidR;
Disregard the last post please. I understand your explanation now, and everything is fine and dandy. Thanks for your help. Jim.
Your welcome.
I assume it is the cumulative effect of older scans being added to the file rather than overwriting the existing one, the file must have been massive ;D
