Report Generation Fails in RC-1A

When I try to run the Generate coverage report I get the following error in the error log after the run fails:

8/25/2004 03:51:21 PM 1093463481 Administrator 792 COM error in repGenerate(): Crystal Reports ActiveX Designer-Query Engine Error: ‘ADO Error Code: 0x80004005 Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server Description: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression. SQL State: 21000 Native Error: 512’

and no report is generated.

The Generate Infection report however runs fine.

Could you please determine which report(s) is causing the problem, exactly? Just try turning off one by one in the task…

It sure completes OK with our data so it must be data-dependent (hard to debug here)…

BTW pavels (who authored the reports) will be interested in this topic – I’ll invite him to monitor this thread…

Thanks
Vlk

Is there any chance to backup your database and send it to sedina@asw.cz? As Vlk said it was probably data dependent problem, so I would like have those data. thanks!

I tried running the top 5 reports labeled "Network Machines *" singly and then grouped them all together. All of the attempts have failed. I then tried running "Top N Virus report" and that one ran fine. This was using the same Task as the one that failed so I know the rest of the settings should be fine.

Ok, and sending of backuped database? Is it possible? thanks…

I have sent the db. It is in zip format.
