I run into false virus alert concerning http://www.crw-daq.ru/download/bin/installadmilink.exe address.
In the VIRUS FOUND -windows the link: ‘Report the file as false positive’
does not seem to work or do anything.
I reported the false virus alert via avast web page as false positive.
Would be nice if ‘Report the file as false positive’ -link would work …

Why do you want to report malware/a malicious website as a false positive?

Seems to be I was wrong asuming the avast Web Shield Virus Alert was about the
file installadmilink.exe and not about the site itself.
I only wanted to be able to download the file which contains no viruses.
I just did a test now
and no warning detection of Avast or something similar.

Why downloading from such a malicious website anyway?
I wouldn’t trust anything from them.
As I said in my original post I reported the
http://www.crw-daq.ru/download/bin/installadmilink.exe
as false positive on avast site.
Since then avast has modified their engine and virus definations not to alert
about the file in question.

The reason for downloading from the site and the file in question is that it seems to be the only source for
Admilink install program.
Admilink program allows execution of programs with different user credentials than the
current login credentials.
My normal user id has standard user credentials. Certain programs require administrator privileges
(E.g. Speedfan).
I use Admilink to create a startup shortcut with Administrator privileges for these programs (speedfan).
