REPOST Problem with last version!!PC crash, programs do not work!

Even if I have setted AVAST not to download latest version of the program, but only antivirus update, it install itself … and my pc crash!!!
I have tryed to unistall some of the new feature, but then it does not work!!!
Please help or after years I will do nothing but change antivirus

Avast 17.2.2288 (17.2.341964)

Nobody answer me , here or in the italian Forum … should I keep using other antivirus as noone is helping me?

  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

This happened to me too. The only fix I found was to completely remove Avast antivirus, using the avast removal tool, and then reinstall avast fresh from their site. I hope this helps.
