Hello! I noticed that my reputation services and streaming updates in Avast 8 are always on! I disconnect from the internet still they report that they are on! I use the update module for the updates it reports error (since I’m not connected to online) but my reputation services and streaming updates in Avast 8 still report that they are on (connection established)? Is it supposed to be like that? Windows 7 64-Bit. I use Comodo Firewall as well. Thank you.
I think that you might have answered your own question.
Yes, they remain “on” they just don’t function without the web connection. 
LOL! I see. Thank you. But in Avast 7 I saw “connection not established” or something like that when I had no internet connection? Why it’s not the case now?
The connection takes time to refresh so once you disconnect from the internet wait a few mins and then it should show it’s not established.
