I have spent 4 days working with malwarebytes technician who is very helpful. However, at this point the problem is that Avast is keeping me from updating the malwarebytes anti-malware. I need to figure out where to put "trusted application/trusted processes in Avast so I can update malwarebytes anti-malware and get it to run appropriately. When I turn off Avast completely I have no problem updating malwarebytes anti-malware and for years Avast and malwarebytes antimalware (free version) have lived in peace. However, now that I am using Avast Premier I need to know where to put some program files in the trusted application or trusted processes so that I can use the malwarebytes antimalware Premium 2.0.1.1004. I am using Avast Premier version 140419-3. Please provide me with whatever assist you can. Thank you.

I believe you would have to exclude these files:
MBAM.EXE
MBAMDOR.EXE
MBAMPT.EXE
MBAMSCHEDULER.EXE
MBAMSERVICE.EXE
They should all be in Program Files (x86)/Malwarebytes Anti Malware
I don’t use Avast anymore so forget how to do it but one of the helpful people on here will come along and let you know.
See if this helps solve your problem:

This was prepared for the previous version of Malwarebytes but should still work.
Hi, I really appreciate your help, however Avast Premium appears to have different areas and I was able to more or less find the way to click on the Malwarebytes anti-malware and get it excluded. (I THINNK). However I was unable to follow the remainder of the instructions. Would anyone know about Marlarebytes Anti-Malware Premium and Avast Premier to help with this issue.
Thank you.
