Hi, I have been trying to create a Rescue USB using the “Rescue Disk” option . I have formatted my USB and inserted for installation . Then there it is all I am seeing for the past 13 hrs is the “Downloading Toolkit…” message.
I am pretty sure nothing is wrong with my network speed though as I could download a GB in 15 min,but this is too much. What is this? A bug in the software or could it be a fault in my USB?
You’re not the only one. It’s so slow as to be useless.

No problems for me.
Just tested it and it took about 7 minutes to create the rescue usb.
I tried creating a rescue CD on my Windows 8.1 laptop. After over an hour, with it only about a quarter of the way done, I gave up. I don’t think I have a virus. Everything else works well. I created a rescue CD from a different antivirus in a few minutes.
