Rescue disk is not creating, says failed to create

Failed on three different computers. Will not create a bootable .iso on either the thumbdrive option or the cd option.

There have been a number of topics on this particular subject.

As far as I can recall a workaround, is to disable the avast Self-Defence Module before running it. AvastUI > Settings > Troubleshooting - uncheck the ‘Enable Avast self-defence module’ option.

I disable self defense but it still failed to create. Any other suggestions?

For me, it stays there, downloading, forever…

vallepns, what exact avast version ?

ive got a USB stick that the rescue disk will not create to and i dont know why but it can be created on one of my other usb sticks, so i suggest trying a different usb stick and see if that works.
