....RPC problem

Today, the problem happened again. I was to windows services contro, and i discovered that the RPC service wasn,t satart. So samething is blocking the correct start of this service. ( but not everytime)

I have a cable modem conect to a realteck net card

naybe this information help!!

You do not need the rpc service to be started. If you have XP you can set it using: start, run, services.msc

Sorry Artras if I do not understand you well.

You must have RPC service running in your Windows system! Besides avast!, a lot of other services and programs need this Window service running in the background.

Joel, set the RPC service for automactic run and start with Windows. Do you have any reason to suspect that avast! is ‘blocking’ the RPC service?
