I recently lost my Win 8.1 installation. Restored from a backup dated prior to installing Avast. Avast control panel said this device wasn’t connected. Did the connecting dance and now have 2 instances of the same computer showing up in My Devices. One is under “Current Device” and another under “Other Devices” with “Avast! Internet Security” noted below the computer name.
I don’t have a clue of what all this means or if I should delete the newer “current device” entry, if so how?
