About a month ago I have sent few samples to AVAST for analysis. The files were confirmed as malicious. And the service representatives said the files will be added in the next update. According to Virus Total report the files are Trojan samples. But till now they are not detected by AVAST. Can anyone tell me how much time does AVAST takes to add samples to database? I have recently purchased AVAST IS and facing all these issues. No reply from service representatives.

I already contacted them. In fact submitted the samples using AVAST support portal. But it has been a month. No reply from AVAST.

We do handle FP reports and âgeneral inquiresâ (hence the link in the Contact us page), but it is more efficient to submit malware samples as described in the article above as we donât need to escalate them one by one
