I am running Avast Mobile Security since a while on three android devices (2x Kitkat, 1x Jelly Bean) without a noticeable battery influence.
After upgrading one device to Lollipop 5.0.1 (S4 active, T-Mobile stock) I have heavy battery drain even with disables file file system scan, disabled updates, disabled status update.
Installed applications are Mobile Security and Anti Theft.
Any advice how to solve this problem ?

Hello,
it is possible the battery drain is increased due to the update itself. Some phones (often S5 and S4) can have this problem after update to Lollipop even without Mobile Security installed. For some users, doing a system reboot with wipe of data helped BUT you will loose all your data present in the phone! I recommend consulting Samsung customer support first.
Hello Janek,
thank you for your reply.
Well, I do not think that it is caused by the update itself because Avast Mobile Security is 1st in place with the highest %tage when I check in the battery menu.
Do you think there is another possibility than wiping all data on the phone ?
