Running into a minor problem.
1.I am running Firefox v 8.0 always virtualized under the expert settings.
2.One of the Avast feature when you open the browser there is a red border around the web page, which indicates the process is virtualized.
3. Every once in awhile when I open firebox there is no red border around the web page, however when I check the expert settings, it tells me the processes are virtualized and running OK

What would be causing this and how do I correct this minor glitch?

Do you use any themes/visual add-ons? If so, try disabling them and see if it persists.

I have noscript and Ghostery as a add on. also forecastfox. do you think these add ons would cause the problem???

We dont think those add ons can cause the problem. What you can do is to try repair avast!.

You can do it by going into

Add or Remove Programs → avast! software → Repair.

Reboot the machine and try. Post back with results.

Your solution worked ;D I did a repair on Avast and everything is running perfectly. Thanks for your help
