SBS Suite Upgrade

We have a small sbs network (10 clients) based on SBS 2003.
Currently we have a SBS Suite license which is about to expire.
We would like to upgrade to SBS 2011 and Avast 6 on the client. What options do we have?
I know that the new SBC is not ready, but there is some plan to make available a new SBS Suite license which includes Avast 6 for the client?
Or do we have to buy 10 CALs for SBS server edition and a 10 license pack for Avast 6?
Does the old SBS Server edition run on SBS 2011?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

No there is no connection possible with the v6 client (yet)
and as far as i know SBC is replacing the whole concept of SBS suite.

the so called connector, to connect v6 clients to ADNM, i have heard of is not coming out for a while as far as i gathered…

Sinds the SBS 2011 version is really server 2008, it should work… Scythe is more at home in SBS servers tho…

The only downside to running the v4.8 server edition on SBS2011 is the Exchange scanning may not work (Doesnt SBS2011 use Exchange 2010?)

@MAC yes your right, tho its only in the standard version, the essential version has no exchange at all…
but indeed the 4.8 scanner/plugin doesnt support 2010

Has there been any news or progress towards support for Windows Home Server 2011 (WHS 2011) or Small Business Server Essentials 2011 (SBS 2011)? Both are based on Windows Server 2008 R2 but use a specialized SDK to present a management console interface for lightweight administration. Neither seem to have much traction in security software, it would be a great opportunity for avast! to take on.
