Hi all, could someone please tell me, do I do a thorough scan with the “Scan archive files” box checked or unchecked. I have been doing a regular once a week thorough scan for the past 15 months & have ( touch wood ) never found an infected file, Avast is tops.
That is up to you. You must decide if you want to scan archives as well.
Read the help (start > programs > avast > help) and see what those functions do and make your decission.
