When my Quick Scan is completed I get two files that can’t be scanned.
The first is C:\windows|Install\1e*****\ FILE_A_BALL_TRANS
The other is some long path about MessengerLang.msi and a soundsmct.
Does anyone know about these files? Are the potentially dangerous? Can I just remove them or are tey necesary?

A screenshot would be great. Going by what you have posted it appears to be an installer.
The trouble is without the full file path I can’t be certain. That said it doesn’t seem to be an
executable and therefore poses no threat. When the scan was finished were you shown a
“scan results” screen? If so could you post a screenshot of that please?

They appear to be related to a NVIDIA driver.
Run a “full system” scan using default setting then report your findings.
I ran a full system scan on all my drives. The only files that could not be scanned was an Adobe Reader 10 install file. I deleted it and removed it from my Recycle Bin.
It did not even give me the error about the two previous files that could not b e scanned.
