If I scan my computer by right clicking on the drive letter and selecting "Scan C:", is the scan as thorough as one initiated by opening Avast and running the scan from the program interface? (Except, of course, for the testing of memory and startup items.)
The right click scan by ashquick.exe of your C: drive is exactly the same as the thorough scan with archives of your C: drive from the user interface - it is the most thorough scan offered by avast.
Thanks for the information. It’s just the answer I was hoping for, and is much appreciated.
