don’t know what is the problem, but the option of schedule boot-time scan is not working. it is dimmed and doesn’t do anything. any ideas, apart from re-installing?
the boot time scan only works on 32 bit, not on 64 bit. So chances are your running on a 64 bit operating system!
I think they said in 5.1 it will support 64 bit
I’m not sure about avast 5, but in 4.8 and several earlier versions the boot scan could only be used with Win XP or later. So if your OS is older that might also be your problem.
