Screensaver clarification

I see from reading previous threads that the screensaver starts from where it stopped at the folder level.

Does it still remember the new start after a re-boot or does it go back to the beginning?

Without loop scanning checked does the screensaver revert to normal after Avast comes to the end?

With loop scanning checked does it mean that Avast starts the scan straightaway and never reverts to the normal screensaver?

Ian

It remembers the folder after booting as far I remember.
Without loop, the scanning finishes and you’ll have only your screensaver running. After booting, you’ll have the scanning up again.
Looping means avast scans all the time when screensaver is running. I’m not understanding what do you mean by “normal screensaver”…

Thanks.

Normal to me is the usual background s/c without the Avast scanning overlay.

Ian

No, it only comes back to your screensaver if you set Windows that way, otherwise, avast screensaver (scanning) will run.
