I’m using Windows 7 and subscription Avast! I noticed there is an Avast screensaver included that looks to run a scan when it is in use. I understand selecting a screensaver to use with it, but my screensaver doesn’t activate at all after the time of inactivity passes the turn on time. It doesn’t work without Avast or with it. It used to work. What happened?

OK right click the desktop and select personalise
Select Screensaver
In the dropdown select Avast
Select apply

Ensure that the screensaver is active in Avast settings

Check the settings are to your needs in the virus scan area
