Script blocker is it working

Hi

This problem has occured twice in 3 weeks.
Script blocker does not record any web sights you view.
I tried repair avast, checked everything i can think of.

The only way i have got it to work again is a complete uninstall and reinstall.

This is getting to be a pain as i use dialup .
Anyone got any ideas what is causing this.

Using WindowsXP Service pack2

Are you really talking about Script Blocker (not WebShield)?
Aren’t you using FireFox? (Script Blocker doesn’t work in FireFox).

Yep i am talking about Script Blocker .
I use firefox but my wife and kids mainly use IE as they don’t like firefox.

I know firefox dosn’t work with “Script Blocker”.
But both times Script blocker did not work i was using IE, my wife and kids use IE all the time.

Once i uninstalled and reinstalled avast Script blocker started working again.

More than likely it was how i worded it.
Any idea why Script blocker stops as i havn’t got a clue.

PS At the momment it is working fine but for how long.

I suggest you add a password to avast! to avoid any other in your family (knowing or not what they’re doing) chang avast! providers settings :wink:
