Script Blocking

Does it work with Opera and K-Meleon browsers?

Thanks in advance.

I don’t know what is K-Meleon, but it does not work with Opera (well provided Opera doesn’t use Windows Scripting host, which I doubt).

Generally, it only works with IE and Netscape/Mozilla -derived browsers.

K-Meleon is based on the Gecko-engine and this is IMHO the fastest freeware browser on the planet http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/

actually mozilla firebird is the fastest freeware browser on the planet

Humm…

Seems like ever browser info says “they” are the fastest.
I wonder who claims to be the slowest???
;D

There was some talk of MyIE2 in another thread.
It seemed to be very good until a 3rd party vendor piggybacked in and tried a browser hijack.

I think I’ll mention it to the MyIE2 vendor and see what can be done.

I doubt if any publisher/supplier would claim the dubious “honor” of being the slowest browser – but IE 5.5 was definitely in the running, if not at the front (er, rear  ) of the pack. 5.1 (5.01?) was just as fast as 6, and was actually better in some ways (like full compatibility with things like Cookie Pal).

I think they ALL claim to be the fastest. ::slight_smile:
But mozilla firebird is spyware free and fast. I use mozilla ( not the firebird) because it has the mail client built in instead of downloading firebird and thunderbird

Thank you for the information.
I’ll try not to comment further or might end up getting an “off topic” from one of the Moderators.

Browers would make a nice new topic under General.
