I’ve installed, at home, the HOME version of AVAST.
I would want to make to acquire it (in the version professional) to my company but I’ve a question:
Is it possibile to create a script for to configure the options for all in the same way the versions second my formulation (predefined) ? I want to configure for example the SMTP server, the destination mail, the upgrade mode, and so on. How I can do it ?
It depends on how many you are looking at as there is the ADNM (avast Distributed Network Manager) product that manages this I believe. This a link to the English page, there will probably be one for Italian also, http://www.avast.com/eng/adnm.html.
There is also a silent installation.
You could also contact sales (at) avast (dot) com, I’m sure they could advise on a suitable product.
You can create a so called “Silent installation” from the current settings - but only in avast! Professional.
Also, if you buy avast and just add the license key… avast Home will be transformed into avast Pro and the settings will be preserved. Are you trying to buy avast for the same computer you have installed Home version?
No, the home edition is on the PC at my home. For my LAN I will install directly a PRO version
