Hi,

Since the latest Avast definition our whole scu.edu.au domain is now blocked by avast with the url:mal error.

can you pin point why exactly you are blocking our domain ?

Comes up clean on this URLViod check, http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/scu.edu.au.

There is a new on-line contact form, http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php?loadStyles for: * Sales inquiries; Technical issues; Website issues; Report false virus alert in file; Report false virus alert on website; Press (Media), issues.

  • If you are reporting an FP on a website, then you get another input filed open, enter the URL that you wish to submit.

Ask for a site review as you believe this is a false positive by the Network Shield. You could give the URL to this topic and the URLVoid results page.

I have completed this form lets hope that Avast action it, that was a few hours ago and no acknowledgement yet that the request has been received!

Hi I am blocked from scu.edu.au site as well, noticed an scu email has gone out about it.
luckily found a friend without avast to submit my assignment !!!

have filled in the false positive form too… hope they fix it.

It was a false positive. It was fixed in the latest VPS release.
