Well, the site is up but parts of it are not working properly.
Cannot post anything at the users forum. Appears to work, but sending the post will fail. Also cannot log out of the forum atm, no option for that is available.
UPDATE: User forum is still unavailable for posting. Have attempted to create three posts there re this issue; all have vanished into the ether.
Must be a serious issue for this to go on now for almost 24 hours.
Ive given up on secunia version 3.It refuses to update anything.
It displays programs that need an update and says it is updating them but just seems to hang and it does it quite regularly now so i uninstalled.

Depending on what os you are running or present configuration, some of the older versions are better suited for an advanced/computer literate user. Give me a couple of minutes and I will point you to version 2.0.0.3003 located on a Skydrive posted by one of the moderators there at Secunia.

The problem, as I see it, is that version 3.0 has been dumbed down to the point where it is virtually useless if if does not work correctly. Earlier versions do have the bells and whistles not included in version 3.0, and thus it is possible to trace down a glitch here and there, as user interactivity is much greater and more selectively granular in action.
Back soon. Either version 2.0.0.3003 or 2.0.0.4003 should work just fine for you. For a 64-bit system, v. .4003 should work just fine.

I have found the mods to be exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable about the many issues that do come up from time to time.
For example: I posted here about the forums being down; turned out they were down for 2-3 days, due to a configuration change in the web page layout, off and on, and I finally got a hold of them yesterday. Forum traffic was nil to none during this time. What they were trying to do was set up the red banner options where the links to everywhere on the site would do a drop-down when a mouse cursor was hovered over it. !Donovan would know something about this, I am sure of that.
So, there is the answer to the originating post.
