I have the app installed with a current subscription, and when I hit the button to connect, I get the “Allow Connection” pop-up dialog, but when I click OK, nothing happens. What’s going on here?
Hi,
did it work before?
Filip
Yes it did at one time, but stopped working a few months back. Been too busy to address it before now.
Hmm, I can’t test it by myself at the moment, but I guess it’s not on our side if it’s not working for a longer period of time I guess you tried wiping the data of the app, right? Maybe a system update broke the functionality for you? Are other VPN solutions working on your device?
Filip
I’ve tried un-installing and re-installing, all to no avail. I have no other VPN apps. How do I wipe just the data of the app?
Hi,
what exactly happens when you tap OK? Nothing and dialog just hangs there like it has not been tapped at all or it looks like it has been confirmed and then nothing happens? In the first case there is sometimes issue with apps like Twilight, Lux or Night mode. They block ability to interact with pop-up dialog.
You can also try to wipe app’s data in Settings → App manager → SecureLine → tap on “Clear data”.

I have Lux installed. That may be the problem. Is somebody working on a fix for that either on their end or yours, as I like the app?
Hi,
that’s a system dialog so we can’t “fix” that problem. Developers of Lux should take care of that, I suggest you contact them and tell them about your issue. The more people will contact them the better are the chances they’ll fix it.
Filip
Lux have a whitelist that you can use to fix this situation.
Although, it does not work (or is kept after boot) on Android 6.
I have already reported this bug to them (more than once).
