I tried the free 3 day SecureLine and do not want to buy it
Now the pop ups telling me it’s expired will not stop.
How do I make them go away?
never used/tested it…but a wild guess here, remove the program !
SecureLine integrates itself with avast free - they become one.
Their appears to be no way to extract the SecureLine functionality from the normal avast installation.
SecureLine has no uninstall entry in the Win7 control panel, nor does it have a uninstall link the the avast a/v setup, options or configuration.
I thought perhaps someone can offer useful information as how to do remove SecureLine and not the AV
It would surprise me if avast would require someone to totally uninstall the entire a/v package to get rid of SecureLine
To remove Secureline…
Control Panel>Program and Features>Uninstall a Program>avast!>Change>Uncheck Secureline and reboot.
