The problems caused by the Windows Error 12002 may be due to the blocking of the connection by a firewall or
a proxy server. A temporary failure in the network may also be one of the problems associated with the error.
Errors on your system may be caused by invalid registry entries and outdated or corrupt drivers.
This reply is being sent to you after I’ve activated Avast’s VPN service.
Well… after different workaround to try to figure out what is happening… technical support asked me to try to connect from a Public WiFi:
they were right as you : everything works!
Now I guess I have to set up some port forwarding.
Can you tell me which ports and protocols need to be configured on the router Netgear DGN2200v3 ?
If moderator doesn’t mind I would go for a new topic.
Thanks.
