This has been an ongoing problem for quite some time. Not limited to any particular iOS release.
I get the VPN connected. I open a browser. I open a new page. Loose connection.
Or
I get the VPN connected. I open a browser. I walk away for a few minutes. Pad goes into sleep mode. I wake it up. VPN is no longer connected.
Or
I get the VPN connected. I open a browser. I put the pad to sleep for a minute. Wake the pad up again, VPN is no longer connected.
As a result, I end up having to connect, and reconnect, and reconnect again and again. A REAL pain in the Ass.
Is it even worth the hassle?
Hello,
some users have already reported the bug, but AVAST probably can’t fix it.
I have been annoyed about it for a long time, i have reported it several times but nothing happens.
I will not buy it again!
Hello,
the (AVAST-) problem is not new. I’ve had 3 iPads with different operating systems in the last few years. This problem has occurred on all devices and i have reported it several times.
On my Windows PC and my MacBook the VPN runs without problems and i am more than satisfied.
Only on the iPad it is ‘a tragedy’.
Greetings
Gabriel
I wonder if anybody can explain why this happens only on the iPad but not on MacBokk etc.? I mean, I know that the technical requirements are quite different, but shouldn’t be AVAST be able to find a solution for this system as well? Or did they maybe eventually find a way to solve the problem?
