Security softwares

I am using

Microsoft Windows XP
Media Center Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Intel(R) Core™2 CPU
T5200 @ 1.60GHz
1.60 GHz,
1.99GB of RAM

I have installed avast antivirus free version, malwarebytes anti-malware free version, super anti-spyware free version and outpost firewall 2009 free version .

are these enough to protect my system or do I need anything else???

We will be always able to suggest anything else
I think it’s ok, although you can add SpywareBlaster (immunization) and ThreatFire/WinPatrol (HIPS).

They should be a good start, I would consider the WinPatrol free version to monitor your registry for changes.

You don’t say what Browser you use, but I would suggest that you try Firefox with the NoScript add-on as a protection against drive by scripts on hacked sites. Whilst the web shield does a good job with combating hacked sites, firefox with NoScript adds another level to your security.

Hi debanjan…

If it is within your budget and you can pay in U.S. dollars, Zemana Antilogger is another program I would recommend along with SpywareBlaster, as Tech has mentioned.
