Segurazo AND PC Accelerate

Please forgive my ignorance in advance. I am trying to clean up my son’s computer. I am experiencing 2 viruses (I guess that’s what they are):

  1. SAntivirus Realtime Protection Lite. This seems related to something called Segurazo. After repeated attempts to uninstall it, I was finally able (I think) to disable it. But it continues to vex me. Even now, when I try to uninstall it through the control panel (or any other advised method), what inevitably pops up is a Segurazo “uninstaller.” How is it possible that this can supersede the actual Windows uninstall process? I can close the Segurazo window, or even let it “uninstall,” but it does not remove the program, and doing either does not allow me to continue to the actual Windows uninstall process.

  2. PC Accelerate. This is an obvious BS “accelerator” that pops up at startup. It bounces back & forth between 2 or 3 windows that prompt me to cancel or remove or ignore the “issues” it has found, and I am forced to select these before the screen eventually closes and lets me continue to my desktop.

How can I remove these, and also why doesn’t Avast Premium seem to identify them? Screenshots below, and THANK YOU!!

1) SAntivirus Realtime Protection Lite

2) PC Accelerate.

It is true that I can’t see any obvious damage being done, but I don’t know that for sure and, frankly, if it’s on my computer and I am unable to remove it, that is close enough to a virus for me.

Download (install it as free version) and scan with Malwarebytes https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Thank you Pondus that is very helpful. It seems to have worked.
