Hello, if someone can help me i would be happy (i have AVAST Premier). When i am trying to turn on ANY game (lets say BF:H). its just wrote joining server all the time. When i turn off AVAST everything working normally, but when i turn it on again game just crash. I wanted to add an exeption to firewall I just can´t find it please help. (i´ve added exeptions to every shield but it´s seem like firewall is blocking that).
This maybe a problem with the new Game Mode in the Performance tab.
See if your game is listed in it, and try removing it, or turning off Game mode.
I´ve tryed it didn´t helped
I noticed you’re using Premier…
If this problem is related to Firewall, have you explored its settings, for Exceptions, perhaps?
Upload the screenshot so I can see your problem.
As it is happening with any(?) game, it is highly unlike that the firewall is causing it.
Disable the behavior shield and see everything is working.
I can give you screenshot i know its fault of firewall because i let just firewall on and i wont work, when i disable it it just started working normaly. there´s screenshot (its happening with any multiplayer game. (I dont have much singleplayer games). http://imgur.com/a/JP4lA
Any difference if you disable Game Mode ?
Network Profile, or Sitofe profily should contains network configurations, such as allowing or denying certain apps from passing firewall.
If so, have your apps to be allowed through the firewall.
Your avast language is obviously foreign to me, so try exploring the settings and find an options that make exceptions to a program, or allowing the program to access internet (preventing network error as you mentioned).
It shouldn’t though, but it’s a new component, so worth a try.
Actualy i explore and theres not such a option like ad an extension…
The easier way in solving this problem is switch to Windows Firewall. Turn off Avast Firewall, and use Windows’ instead.
Third-party firewalls usually blocks program until the user allows them.
I know you’re using Premier, but see if it helps.
If using Windows Firewall, and your program works, then it’s either avast firewall is having issue, or it’s unconfigured firewall that prevents the program from working.
Same Problem with Avast Free 17.1.2286 (Updated to from GUI from 12.3.2280)
Game Mode Componenut Uninstalled
Battlefield Hardline either fails to launch or crashes to Desktop with a message that says stopped working, Windows 10 Pro 64bit 14393.693 (which believe is the latest update, video drivers AMD WHQL 17.1.2 Drivers, Realtek drivers up to date, (Battlefield Hardline game also repaired by the guidance from other forums, no luck though in getting it to run)
Can Provide screenshots if needed
Adding C:\ProgramFiles(X86)\OriginGames\BFH\bfh.exe to behavior shield exclusions allows the game to open normally at least on my Windows 10 Pro System here, so think is a good enough solution at this point for myself
Yeah, this is an Avast issue with that Behavioral setting and Gaming Mode. It is not a Comodo issue as I have Comodo installed on 25 systems. But when installing Avast I wanted to try those settings. After install (and some systems just upgraded) programs just did not work like the OP. All systems have Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 of both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors. Firefox on some did not even launch. Uninstalled Avast (properly) and then installed fresh copy, this time just putting the basics ( File, Mail and Web shileds) and leaving everything off
All 25 systems are all running fine and I have no errors. Checking Windows logs it appears that the settings in Avast causes the problems, but as once before I remember the Avast team helped once before and here is the way I have done it.
- jot down all your settings of your previous version
- Download the new version (DO NOT run it)
- Download the tool to uninstall (DO NOT run it)
- Now reboot in to Safe Mode, then go to Control Panel and uninstall old version, reboot in to Safe Mode again. Run the uninstaller, reboot to normal desktop
- Now install Avast, but uncheck all the features for right now. Just get the main Avast in, later you can turn on the features one by one and see if any issues arise. Then you know which feature is the cause
- Reboot and then compare your settings that you took screenshots against the newer version.
A side not, if you still have issues check for this setting. Get Avast installed, launch the program. Go to troubleshooting, Passive Mode and make sure it is “OFF”. Some systems were set to “ON” and non of the protection were “ON” because of it. I guess Avast can now be used as a second opinion A/V.
Anyways, I hope this helps as it did for all my installations across multiple systems and operating systems.
