I need help because I installed a game before and it had a virus! Now this process is slowing down my computer to the point where I need to restart after a while.
Is there a way to fix this virus?

Hi
Visit the following page: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
and post the malwarebytes, otl and aswmbr as attachement in your next reply 8)
Anthony
I’ve uploaded the other files as attachments because the OTL.txt was too large to upload. Also, aswmbr is scanning right now
Ok, I’ve uploaded everything except the OTL file because it is 200kb. What do I do with it?
Click here and paste the entire contents of the OTL.txt, then save the paste and provide the link.
Thanks!

I’m glad you understood my horrible directions lol.
Sadly, I can’t help much more than that.
But I must say: Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Adobe…Photoshop, maybe?
It’s not
I’ve had those long before I got this virus. It’s some game in japanese, but I uninstalled it. I still have the virus though
No no no, I wasn’t insinuating that those files were the virus, I was just pointing out that I noticed them.
And avoiding any suggestions of their legality, or lack thereof.
Anyways, can you possibly give me the name of the game that gave you the virus?
I see files RLENG.iso and Elsword.lnk
The latter I think is a safe, virus-free game. The former…I get the feeling you got it from a shady source. P2P filesharing gone wrong?
Did Avast not alert you when you downloaded the file and/or ran the game (or what you thought was a game)?
Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems
Be advised that when the fix commences it will shut down all running processes and you may lose the desktop and icons, they will return on reboot
Run OTL

It seems like my computer is a little better. My antivirus hasn’t popped up with the virus detection yet, but to make sure, I want to use the computer for the day and report if any similar popups come up.
Looks OK now let me know of any problems
