Setting

Hi,

I am a new user of Avast 4 and I would like to know where is the settings option.

Upon install, I have chosen boot scan but I wish to cancel this option.

Furthermore, is the Avast 4 available in French.

I read about the beta version and the Montreal french or Quebec french in reading is the same as in France…

Thanks

Both your questions are already answered in this forum. Use the search function.

Hi, when you have installed Avast! an icon is made on your desktop.
Click it and after a few seconds the simple userinterface appears.
Now, when you right-click somewhere in a gray area in the simple user-interface, the settings menu pops-up.
And the french version is being tested right now so this should be available soon. Didn’t realise there were so many different kinds of french…

Bye.

I am a new user of Avast 4 and I would like to know where is the settings option.
Right click on the A ball in the tray and select Start Avast Anti-virus. When the main interface loads, go to the upper left hand corner and click on the small "dot". This opens up the Setup menu.
Upon install, I have chosen boot scan but I wish to cancel this option.
This can be done in the Setup page under "Settings"

YES. As a matter of fact, it was just released! http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=3358

Glad to help you and welcome to Avast!

I am a new user and I will certainly use the search in the future.

Thank you Fast, this is a really “fast” answer. As for the french, it is the same french language throughout the entire province of Quebec.

Techie101, this is a very warm welcome and I found my answer. Thank you.

Have a nice day all.

cocotte,
