My Avast never shows the date of my last scan. What do I need to change in the settings?

Nothing for the moment, avast only records the Date of last scan if you have done a full scan (Local Disks) so are you doing that or are you doing a Folder Selection scan ?

If you are doing a Local Disk scan then, try a repair of avast. Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.
