I sincerely hope someone here can help me. I run Pro 4.7 in conjunction with Outpost Pro firewall. I have been running Pro as a trial and the trial expired today. I attempted to purchase the product through Share It and the payment was denied. This is the second time that I have experienced this with Share it. The first time was purchasing Outpost Pro. I ended up spending a LOT of money in long distance telephone calls because of that. The result was that had it not been for the people at Outpost, Agnitum , I would not have that program operating now.
According to my credit card company the request for payment for Outpost was never made. I am assuming that this is the same situation, equipment problems with Mastercard and ShareIt. If anyone could direct me to the business office for Avast hopefully this can be resolved.

Mrs Liu with Avast agreed that they do have a problem with ShareIt but having said that she provided a list of resellers and wished me luck. Does anyone here know where I can purchase a license for Pro online other than ShareIt?? I currently am operating with no AV since the trial has expired and have been unable to remedy the credit card problem with ShareIt. They admit the problem may be theirs. Since there are no problems with my card, I believe its a connection problem with them.
When you trial expires, I believe avast will revert to the home version. If you qualify, you can just register for the home(free) version. Once you have things sorted out, pay the subscription and insert the new pro key. Avast will upgrade to pro. This will at least keep you protected in the interim.
I can confirm that we are in touch with share*it to try to persuade them to both expedite their response and to solve the issue.
In share*it’s defence, they manage hundreds of thousands of transactions per day without incident; I just hope that now they will try their best to get things working for you.
Other forum users having issues should please contact sales@avast.com in the first instance to get best service from ALWIL Software.
Unfortunately no one has provided a way that I have been able to find to purchase the license for the product online. According to Avast for large orders their sales team handles things. Apparently they have no ability or interest in helping an individual. I have no local sales group since I live part of the year in Mexico. Additionally none in Gardendale north of Birmingham where I might be able to gt someone to go and purchased a boxed product. I have asked them to provide another place where I might be able to purchase a license online and so far have heard nothing.
Justin many thanks for your interest. I had this identical problem with ShareIt when I attempted to purchase Outpost Pro firewall. They handle purchases for this company as well. I spent quite a bit of money in long distance telephone calls from Mexico to the US to my credit card company who reported that no one attempted to debit my account for the price I paid for the firewall. My CPA pays my credit card account in full EACH month and the account is functional. ShareIt NEVER WOULD PROVIDE ME with a non 800 number for me to call since I am unable to call 800 US numbers from Mexico. I asked them a month ago when I had this problem with Outpost and I asked them last week and they ignored the request.

Why rather than asking for account information on my credit card and selling me a license do I get what amounts to a brushoff since I can not find anywhere online to buy a license?? I ANd others like me, your client base, are the reason your company exists. Outsource your credit card operations to a ShareIt who obviously doesnt give a damn and you will outsource your customer base to another company. I came to your company because of a lousy program and horrible support from ZoneAlarm Security Suite.

Shareit should definitely provide better service than this. We will discuss this problem with shareit further.
Having never used any of the resellers, but I would have thought that they don’t have to be physically close to you but that they can process the purchase and send you your registration key.
If you are talking about Birmingham, Alabama then there are two resellers in Alabama, one in Birmingham. http://www.avast.com/eng/alabama.html. Perhaps one of those can process payment.
I just got back from an overnight trip and pleasantly found a very nice letter from Justin Bellinger at ALWIL. Justin explained the operations of ShareIT and how they relate to ALWIL.
The better part is that apparently ShareIT got whatever problems they were experiencing corrected and managed to debit my credit card for the price of a 1 year subscription and sent me the license key.
So all is well that ends well I suppose, ALWIL was courteous and as this is the second problem I ve experienced with ShareIT I have reservations.
In any case thanks to all in the forum here for suggestions and pointers on the direction to take. We live in a global community I am an excellent example of that an expatriate in another country. Hopefully one day product support will catch up.
