Gigaget is still the fastest download manager out there. The biggest problem with Orbit Downloader is that there is no way you can disable that Flash/Stream checker. You can remove the checkmark inside its options, but it won’t remember your settings. Next time you start Orbit Downloader, checkmark is there again.

Most annoying thing about this is that every single time you hover over some Flash/Streaming content, it will pop up with that GET THIS (or something like that) box.

I reported it so many times in their forum, and I’ve noticed there is at least hundreds of other reports… since I reported it first time, they released 2 or 3 builds and still did nothing to fix that bug.

I agree with you. It’s annoying. I expect next verions this bug will be fixed.

One year later people is making translations and even there isn’t a multilingual version with a lot of translation made yet. I like translate programs but i like see my work and see people downloading and using it.

Perhaps Orbit Downloader isn’t he best, but i like it and when i send a translation at once is available and users can download and update bugs or updates of translation. I think attention to volunteers is essential. Well, it’s my opinion.

On the other hand i doubt. What desktop do you like??
