If it’s not one thing it’s another with V7.0.1426
First Script shield doesn’t work then it does.
But now Mail Shield has stopped working.
It’s about time Avast got their act together.
What’s the point of have shields if they only work intermittently.
I have also just noticed Web shield is no working
Repair avast!:
- Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
- Click on ‘Repair’.
- Follow instructions.
- Reboot.

I have tried AVG,Avira,Microsoft security essentials.all of which were uninstalled before Avast

I just realized i had not added Free.
My earlier post should now indicate that
First, be sure you get rid of all remnants of your prior installed AVs.

Then:
- Download avast! Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
- Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Uninstall all prior installed versions…!)
- Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
- Reboot.

The only problem now is Registration.It doesn’t no want to know.
