The aswbIDSAgent service is running after I enabled the Behavior Shield and restarted the computer. The aswbIDSAgent service is set at manual. Is there any other service I should be looking for in Windows Services to make sure that the Behavior Shield is running? Thank you.
No, I believe that is the only service that is required for the Behaviour Shield. Whilst there are other services that avast uses, I believe this is the one directly related to the Behaviour Shield.
I don’t believe so, given the OPs comment “The aswbIDSAgent service is running after I enabled the Behavior Shield and restarted the computer.” So it looks like it wasn’t enabled to start with.
Thank you all for your responses. So I guess my question has now been answered. The outcome I have is that I have turned on the Behavior Shield, which was not the case when I started this thread.
