Should I Switch from Avast Premium Security to Avast Gold Individual? 🤔

Hi everyone!

I’ve been using Avast Premium Security for a while now and I’m happy with it, but I’ve been thinking about upgrading to Avast Gold Individual. Before making the switch, I wanted to get your opinions:

*** Have you tried both?**
*** Is the Gold Individual plan worth it?**
*** What’s better about it compared to Premium Security?**

I’m particularly curious if the extra features in the Gold plan really add value or if Premium Security is still the best choice.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences and recommendations! Thanks in advance!

Hey @alilihassan02 My short answer is: Go for the Avast One, the value is worth it.

Long version is:
I did actually made this upgrade for me personally to have on my devices, went from the premium antivirus and some of the other modules (they were bundled on an offer with other software I purchased) so I did have all the full suite before they deployed the Avast One, when they rolled out the Avast One, my subscription was done, once again I got it as a plus with some other product, so I decided to try avast one, they treated me as a new costumer so I got the promotional price to try the first year. I can attest that the functionality is exactly the same as if you had all the Avast modules, only more convenient due to the dashboard being more compact, the user experience on login and adding new devices suited me better as well, as it was only one piece of software that managed it all, so it was less bloatware on my systems to keep track of, but the protection (and VPN and privacy etc) was all there.
Without the promo price for the first year… I’m not sure I’d go for Avast as there are options that have score similar results for a lower cost.
Sorry to say on the Avast forum, but that’s the case, I wouldn’t pay the full price for it, and when I’m not covered by a promotion or a discount on renewal, I drop it, not a competitive price outside of promos considering the alternatives in the market.
