Show Auto Sandbox analysis progress?

Does disabling it degrade protection in any way? I’ve noticed that “Locknote” that has been a Auto Sandbox’s issue for ages seems to be more civilized. You can run Locknote, use it, encrypt text data and avast! won’t make any drama. But if you have progress enabled, you get bombarded with the notification window and cancelations of opened Locknote window.
But that makes me wonder if Auto Sandbox is even working then…

I actually like it more this way, i just want it to detect stuff, i don’t have to see the “progress” dialog.

Anyone?

I have always had the AutoSandbox set to Ask and it was a very rare occasion that I would ever get it pop-up. So far with avast 8 I haven’t seen it at all, so I can’t contribute much to this topic.

That said, in the avast7 version there were topics complaining that there were times when they didn’t know if the autosandbox was working, so I don’t know if this was/is an inclusion to show that it is actually still working/running.

Though I don’t know how they would know how long things are going to take, given it is an unknown situation.

It would be nice if someone from avast! team would comment on this…

When I set Autosandbox to “Ask” state it opens this pop-up window everytime when I browse to new webpage, so I had to change it back to “Automatic”, kinda stupid imo.

C’mon, why i never get any answers to such simple questions!?

I wished someone from avast team could answer this topic rejzor.

My wish would be in some way autosandbox could be fully automatic and somehow not be a user dependent condition where it says “did not have enough evidence” although I am seeing sandbox detection these days

btw,I just visited 2 of my clients who use avast and one of them had like 3 detections labelled with “dyna” prefix meaning sandbox detection and it is working ;D

I guess avast, should keep sandboxing the file even if it didnt have enough evidence and they could replace the continue execution botton with a thing like “dont isolate again” like COMODO has though this is avast forum ;D
