Streaming updates are happening constantly.
VPS updates infrequently and Silently.
I haven’t heard an announcement about an avast! update since I installed version 2014.
Is it being worked on ???
It seems to me that many devs from companies are being a lot more tight lipped these days, especially as if they say something that doesn’t come to fruition they will possibly be accused of lying. However, it would be nice to have some interaction from them even if it is just a “we are aware of the problems” or “we are working on it”.

I am asking the same question as you are Bob, only getting VPS updates if I do manual updates streaming updates are happening constantly for me too.
I haven’t had a voice over announcement or popup notice since Avast 2014 RC3 
I miss the announcement and popup notice about an avast! update.
I’ve just had an announcement or popup notice just a few minute ago VPS now showing 131021-1 saying everything is good
