Hi, I am sending this message to user forum out of desperation having been unable to find out how to send a text message direct to AVAST. I am 86 years old, housebound and live in a remote rural part of Zimbabwe. I have been with AVAST Premium for more years than I care to remember always with automatic renewal. Suddenly all this seems forgotten ! I get a request to submit payment within seven days ! I try to respond using my valid mastercard account and am told the account is “unrecognised”. I suspect AVAST tried to take the automatic renewal but also came unstuck with the account. But why did nobody from AVAST inform me ? I have trouble contacting Europe from here … letters take 6 - 8 weeks air mail; mobile phone only, calls rarely survive more than ten minutes before cutting. Can someone PLEASE pass this message over to AVAST. It will take me some time to sort out this Mastercard problem and make the payment and resume the automatic. Could they please retain me on the FREE antivirus until I can do this. Thanks Geoff Laver
Hi Geoff, I too an unable to get in touch with Avast - either by e-mail or through my account. They have charged me for two subscriptions that I never wanted and tried every avenue to unsubscribe and/or refund. Absolutely no reply. My subscription page shows ‘no subscriptions’ yet on my account it shows two and they have charged me for two. What is going on with Avast? I can sympathise with you, being over 80 myself and nowhere to turn for further help.What can we do?

I used your link from Australia and was able to find how to unsubscribe from the free trial of Avast Premium Security which I decided I did not wish to continue with. They don’t make it easy!
