Ever since the update was pushed to my phone for the latest version of AMSS, I keep getting a “threat” detected. It reads that “Chrome Support is disabled. You are not protected against malicious web sites.” But when I click on the “enable” button, it takes me to the accessibility settings, which has NOTHING to do with Chrome or Avast on my LGV10.
The App’s instructions tell me to open Accessibility Settings, Select Avast Mobile Security (NOT IN THERE), and turn the switch On. I’ve looked up and down that dang screen 8-ways to Sunday. All I have in there is: Vision, Hearing, Motor & cognition, Accessibility features shortcut (w/ switch), Auto-rotate screen (w/ switch), Switch Access, and AT&T Smart Wi-Fi.
I did verify that AMSS had “Usage access for apps” turned On under my security features, which was off after the update oddly enough.
I’m at a loss on how to fix this. Please advise. Thanks.
