Do not how this happened. Down loading email became painfully slow, using windows mail. It was suggested to load Thunder Bird, did this, same thing. All other down/uploads all fine. I disabled avast, no change, I then disabled avast and restarted the computer. Then email down loading worked fine. enabling avast, back to slow down load. Uninstalled and reinstalled avast. That fixed the problem.
