What avast version/build number?
What other security programs?

Looking at the dates of the services, it appears that your Avast is outdated
Avast is up to date.
Yes it appears so, but the tool you used to do the image capture ‘Performance Information and Tools’ appears to be showing one of the two AvastSVC.exe entries (the last one) being out of date Match 7 2016.
This is I believe what essexboy was referring to, as there are no avastsvc.exe file dated in your my avast.txt attachment.
Let’s try a clean reinstall…
First, be sure to get rid of all remnants of your prior installed AV(s)…!!

Then:
- Download Avast Free Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
- Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
- Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
- Reboot.
I opened your link and used https://www.voidtools.com/ to search for leftover bits of other AV products. Will report again soon after next stage.

File size is 212mb on a very very slow pc.
Either bite the bullet or try the online installer.

Hi Friend, my image shows what was leftover after running avastclear.exe as instructed and Ccleaner.
So, is your problem solved now…!?
