There have been a few discussions throughout the forum related to smart phones and software (example iTunes) related to smart phones, so I thought I’d start a thread here for those interested in posting to consolidate the discussions.
With an ever greater usage of smart phones, comes an ever increasing risk.
I’m wondering if avast! has something on the back burner to get into the Smart cellphone protection business ???
If they have something on the back burner, I would suggest moving it forward. It has to be worthwhile as it is a huge marketplace. Since they already have the neigh on redundant PDA version I would have though that it would be a goo start point towards porting it to different smart phone OSes.
Security researchers say that the G2’s ability to revert to its original factory state is by no means a rootkit and likely doesn’t violate the Apache open-source license that Android uses.
